When you shop at Mercedes-Benz of Orange Park, you know that each car on our lot offers a variety of premium touches that separate them from the rest of the luxury vehicles out there. That’s especially true with the 2018 Mercedes–Benz S–Class, a model that only gets more stylish and unique as the years go on. Thinking ahead, the Mercedes-Benz brand has already released details about the 2020 edition, and we can’t wait to see how this innovative luxury car continues to evolve.
When the redesigned 2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class makes its debut, the Mercedes-Benz brand wants to make sure that it has a “touch-centric” interior. While many cars are designed to please the eyes of drivers and passengers, this new Mercedes–Benz model will focus on the sense of touch as well. That means the introduction of new details and redesigns of familiar elements.
For example, some changes re reportedly coming to the COMAND® infotainment system. The scroll wheel interface of the infotainment system could also be dropped in favor of a more touch-centric option, like a touch pad. The new interior may also take some cues from the Vision Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept.
The interior isn’t the only thing getting an update in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class though. It will arrive with level three semi-autonomous driving technology, which means that it will be able assist with a variety of driving tasks or handle some entirely on its own. An electric version could also be in the works. We can’t wait to learn more about the 2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class!
